Welcome to the academic intervention website. For children to grow into independent, confident, and capable readers, writers, and mathematicians it is important to provide expert instruction in these areas. Academic intervention has been implemented at P.S 236 to meet the needs of students that find reading and math a struggle and provide them with strategies to achieve a sense of accomplishment. Besides the help in school it is essential to continue this instruction at home. Here you will find useful links to information that will enable you to help your child.
