Economic activities in New York State are varied and have changed over time with improvements in transportation and technology.
Farming, mining, lumbering, and finance are important economic activities associated with New York State.
Students will explore which resources were extracted in New York State over time, the location of those resources, and the economic activities associated with those resources.
